##### We are delighted to announce that Candyspace and ITV have been awarded Platinum at this year's dotCOMM awards. 

As a recipient of a Platinum award for [Mobile Apps: Entertainment](https://enter.amcpros.com/dotcomm/entry/candyspace-and-itv-the-launch-of-itvx/), our work on the launch of ITVX has been recognised as one of the top 17% of all entrants for 2023.

As ITV's strategic technology partner, we've worked closely with the broadcaster for over a decade, from building the original mobile and tablet apps to successfully delivering ITVX during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. 

We're proud to have worked alongside ITV to deliver their most ambitious streaming service to date. Replacing the ITV Hub, ITVX is now a premier destination for content discovery, with over 20,000 hours of entertainment from a wealth of content partners.

Since its launch in 2022, ITVX has seen some incredible results including:

- 1 billion streams in just over 4 months
- A 65% increase in online users
- The best January on record for ITV, with 249 million streams 
- Total streaming hours increased by 49% in Q1
- Named as an [Honouree at the 2023 Webby Awards](https://winners.webbyawards.com/2023/apps-dapps-and-software/app-features/best-streaming-or-ott-service/249515/itvx)

The [dotCOMM Awards](https://dotcommawards.com/) are an international competition, celebrating excellence and achievements in web creativity and digital communication. This year, the dotCOMM Awards received over 2,500 entries from 34 countries worldwide.
