Engaging young audiences through video marketing

As we all know germs and bacteria - those little Invisible Nasties - can be a real threat to your smile. So Colgate wanted to communicate the dangers of failing to regularly replace your toothbrush. What's a more engaging and entertaining way to do that than by showing the little nasties at play in your dirty old brush, and where better to do it than in the hyper-targeted world of social with purpose built animated videos.

Colgate tasked us to bring the Invisible Nasties to life in ways which made their younger audience smile rather than cringe. Our design team worked with our motion designers and animators to give characters, motion and a simple narrative which sees the critters coming out to play from within the brush just as soon as your back is turned. The team created hero video assets with multiple formats reworked to play across social channels paid and owned.

And the campaign results brought smiles to the faces of our happy clients at Colgate with up to 21% view through rates across the formats and above sector benchmark CTR’s.
