We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for the DXP capability within the business. For this role we require a high level of commercial acumen in order to be able to ensure client requirements are effectively translated into best-in-class solutions design.

 

The role is tasked with ensuring the scoping, architecting, delivery and ongoing optimisation of Episerver / Optimizely-based client projects to the highest quality. The Solutions Architect strives for constant technical excellence and has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for technology as an instrument for business growth.

  • Translating customer needs into best-in-class DXP solutions design utilising the Episerver / Optimizely product suite (Content Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Intelligence Cloud & Full Stack)
  • Understanding he technical implications of solutions design, factoring in optimal performance, scalability and ongoing maintainability.
  • Analysing existing client technology stacks and complex dependencies in order to architect optimal / future-proofed technical solutions.
  • Defining solutions that factor in the consistency of approach between front-end and back-end teams.
  • The custom integration of 3rd party platforms and technologies.

 

Experience
  • Extensive experience in a Solutions Architect role implementing and delivering .NET C# web solutions.
  • A solid understanding of best practices of developing with .NET frameworks, .NET Core and MVC solution patterns.
  • An understanding of advanced .NET concepts such as Dependency injection and ORM
  • Advanced SQL Server knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps project setup, CI, test automation and unit testing experience.
  • Thorough understanding of at least one key eCommerce System or Content Management System (Episerver / Optimizely, Sitecore, Magento, Adobe, etc.) and a broad understanding of Microsoft technologies.

  • Outstanding relationship skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at a CTO / COO level.
  • Ambitious, passionate and tenacious about delivering growth.
  • Structured and methodological with good planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with both internal and external stakeholders and experience of communicating complex technical information to a variety of audiences, e.g. in proposals and presentations
  • An in-depth understanding of DXP industry developments providing the business and our clients the facility to grow at scale.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), process and methodologies.
  • The ability to identify and resolve risks, issues and conflicts to ensure quality control throughout the SDLC and that software development standards and practices are followed.
  • Leading workshops and collaborating with our clients to help define detailed project requirements and technical solutions.
