Summary of Role

The Junior Product Owner will take on an interesting multi-faceted role combining CMS updates and management as well as responsibility for helping to prioritise a development team’s work across one or more clients. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from a strong team of product managers and multi-skilled product experts across development, QA, UX/UI Design, Data and Experimentation. 

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our growing Product team. This entry-level or early career role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital products, eager to learn and ready to gain hands-on experience in product management while supporting with creating web pages within a CMS using templates, updating copy using copy-decks, checking for errors and updating images and multimedia assets. This role will initially focus on a programme creating websites for dealerships across multiple markets for a well-known automotive brand.

Working closely with the delivery and product team, tech team and client management teams, this role will ensure quality of output at all times and will communicate any blockers as soon as they arise.

The Junior Product Owner will have a keen eye for detail, be eager to learn new skills and will work within a dynamic and friendly environment. Candyspace offer extensive in-house and external training and development which will help the right candidate to thrive in this role and to develop into a well-rounded Product Owner.

Principal Duties:
  • Create and duplicate website pages for car dealerships based on templates
  • Populate pages within the CMS with correct copy in various different languages
  • Add correct imagery and individual copy for each dealership page
  • Implement page updates and copy/image amends as required
  • Support in managing the workflow for a multi-skilled product team
  • Support in providing direction to development teams 
  • Support in maintaining product backlogs
  • Gaining a more detailed knowledge of Product Management through development opportunities
  • Gaining an understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Keep track of industry trends and competitor developments
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the client organisation

 

Person Profile:
  • Collaborative approach, can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail required 
  • At ease with the standard Office and Google suites
  • Previous experience updating a CMS would also be beneficial
  • Previous experience of agile methodologies and/or product management would be beneficial
